Making a Comeback! ~ The "Real Me"

Hello, everyone. Do you remember me? Probably not, but I might as well reintroduce myself as my feelings towards people and surroundings have all changed. I'm tired of trying to please people, I want to do things off my own will now. And, that starts by updating my blog! Well.. maybe not this one in particular, but I do have a blog I want to update on my own free will.

So, I recently got an Ameba & a LiveJournal to update whenever I have the time. I even have a Facebook now, which I really only get onto talk to my friends from Indonesia, or the Philippines. I'm still angry at my 'father,' to the point where I have grudges and hate locked up into my heart. Four years of this, huh..?

That's not the point though! I should really update my life before anything else! Guess what? I'm becoming a Freshman starting this August. That's right, I'll be in Ninth grade as I update my blog through school life. I'll be taking Pre-AP classes (all subjects), and have a bunch of Photojournalism and Journalism to go into once I'm done with those classes. I'm studying Japanese now, well.. still. I haven't been able to go into my actual book that helps me, but now I'm able to go in whenever I choose to. I obtained Persona 4 for Easter, and now I am playing that game as well. I've been trying to become a Hardcore Role-player, but I've been having trouble with keeping up on all of them such as Gaia Online (I wish people would stop inviting me to so many RPs... I'm a gamer as well, so I don't only write Fan-Fiction in my spare time...).

So, the only game I'm currently playing right now as my Laptop is still down would be a Private Server of LaTale: GPLaTale. Not only do I stack up my training times with Japanese and Artsy things, I must also share my spare time with my friends. However, Role-playing seems to be taking my time off of what I want to do. I think I'm just gonna start logging off of MSN to get away from Roleplaying, it's what my friends wanna do 24-7, and I really wanna do something else for a change!

Now blogging, I never said I would continue to post here did I? I'm going to be fixing up the links of what I have so far, and I will be only updating Ameba and LiveJournal. Ameba will be used for my Personal life, while LiveJournal will be giving updates on games that seem interesting or fun to play. Maybe once in awhile, I'll update my life in there too!

Oh, I told myself I was going to be updating my interests today. While I'm still into Anime, I rarely watch it now. While I'm into Manga, I rarely read it. I hate Naruto and Bleach, but love Yu-Gi-Oh!. I'm into the Shin Megami Tensei games, and I love the company that started it all: ATLUS. I write a lot of Fan-Fiction in my spare time, and I sketch once in awhile. I don't really like broadcasting or making videos anymore... I will be pointing my High School career towards Journalism & Photography. I'm going to be 14 years old in August, and I'm a female Gamer. I love Touhou Project, too. I'm known to act like a prick, or a douche. However, if you get to know me, you can tell I'm a pretty big Fangirl of Persona. In truth, I hate being alone or I hate feeling left out. Like this one time, I was helping a bit with the Trauma Team Role-play my friend was doing. However, I do not own a Wii or the Game.. I haven't even watched all the stories that are featured within said game... So, when they were talking about it I felt this weird feeling in my throat that made me wanna say something (even though it's online). So, then I felt something pouring down my cheeks.. and they were, if you guessed correctly, tears. I dunno why, I felt like I couldn't help at all anymore.. eventually stopped talking until my friend Shane came in. Told him everything, held myself up so I wouldn't break down and type at the same time. And.. I guess everything went okay on there. I don't know why I'm sappy like that.. I just am!

Some Announcements...

Hey, everyone! Surprised I actually appeared with a post today? To tell you the truth, I was going to wish everyone a Merry Christmas, but there were some...problems that came up during so.

My Laptop died again, and it's the Motherboard...again. So, I'm unable to play games or basically do anything without a computer freezing up and completely messing up on everything. To add to that, I won't be getting another laptop, but possibly a Desktop and that's not going to be for awhile. I will only be on the Desktop for awhile, and I won't be gaming at all.

Second of all, Merry Christmas! I'm wondering what you guys got from it. My family pulled through at the last minute and got me the PSP 3000 along with PangYa Portable & Yu-Gi-Oh! Tag Force 4. I've stopped working on my Yu-Gi-Oh! Fan-Fiction for now and decided to settle in and continue Blackbullet (FanFiction.net) & Links to Fantasy (Check deviantART). Kinda sad for the YGO FF, since GX_ST just came out with episode 117, but I'd rather watch the Anime.

Thirdly, I've kinda lost interest in blogging alot. Indeed, I can do Anime reviews and post maintenance notes, but I don't wanna do that anymore. It gets to repetitive, and most of the stuff is just MyShop now. So, as a result, I won't post as much as I used to on the blog. Besides, I got a school life, too, and it's been kind of whack with the economy lately.

[Anime Review] - Kara no Kyoukai ~The Garden of Sinners~

I support this epic Pairing~!

So, I just finished watching Kara no Kyoukai Movie 7, and that's the last movie of the series! It was pretty cute, and I almost cried twice because of how cute, yet sad it was... I guess I should just review now and get straight to the point and review the FULL Anime.

Storyline - 8.9/10
Shiki basically has a split personality. One of her sides want to kill, while one is what you could call "Fragile". She calls the fragile "Shiki" while she calls the Murderous side, "SHIKI" and SHIKI later dies to protect Shiki. (This is further explained in Movie 7) I only rate this 8.9, because the storyline does not go in numerical order, and therefore is very confusing even watching it in the order it goes in. However, this is all explained and clarified in Movie 7.

Art - 10/10
The blood, Character designs, and the way each murder was interpreted was simply stunning. It all looked really nice and blended easily with colors. There was no overuse (I mean like, zero) Kaomoji expressions, because this is a serious Anime. Basically, it's Higurashi's Nature.

Characters -10/10
Each Character had a personality that was portrayed well, and each character had a part in the story. There was an automatic pairing into the story, that in a way was not carried out, but also carried out. Mikiya is in love with Shiki, and Shiki basically rejected him at first. In a way though, Shiki can express her feelings without even telling him.

Overall Grade - 9.6
This anime is a great one to watch, I recommend it to people who like Mystery or Murder-type Animes. If you do plan on watching it, Google the movie order, since you'll basically spoil most of it if you go in numerical order.

If only real life were more like Anime Pairings!

So, this Christmas may be a little troubled, because of all the bills being bunched up and the check that my mom is looking forward to isn't coming. I'm not saying this because of the presents, but almost everyday something new comes up and it's worse than before. Usually, it's my father's fault, and right now we're running low on supplies and such, so we need to to conserve what we have..

However, I feel kinda embarrassed at the moment...
You see, some of you probably know I had a crush on this one guy years ago (if you're my friend, I told you), and how we're like best buddies now?
...Well, that feeling's come back. Though, I'm kinda ashamed of myself because I told him once, but I've hidden the feeling for quite awhile now. Like, I don't even know how to type "I love you" without freaking out (Not even kidding ._.;;). My friends have been cheering me on since I've told them, and I'm kinda happy about it. I told my mom, who told only one of my brothers, and they've been encouraging me, too. (Though, my other brothers are gonna be ticked.)
Ack, I can't even talk about it right now. Expect an Anime/Game Review soon, though...

Clannad for Christmas, anyone?

So, in this post, we're continuing with three final items (well, 4, but I'll just show the 4th one at the end), and this one's actually for other gaming consoles I actually have right now!

Another Persona Game, but the fourth addition to the Persona series! Persona 3: FES was a major badass, but I never got to see Persona 4 up close or got a feel to it myself. No one in Texas has heard of Persona, so it's quite annoying to try and get. However, I'm sure I'll find this one way or another.

Another Kingdom Hearts game to add to my growing KH Collection. Yes, I want KH358/2 Days, since it looked pretty popular (Not to mention: good. I mean, Organization 13 finally gets their true main game). My brother (who knows nothing about Kingdom Hearts) actually recommended this to me after seeing it on the commercial once. So, after a few debates, I decided I was going for it anyways.

What better way to talk on Skype then have an actual microphone right by me. I'm asking for headmics, yes a Head Microphone. They aren't as much as the games, but it's nice to have something to use so people can hear me clearly.

So, yeah. That's my wishlist! I don't have anymore ideas, and hopefully my brother doesn't ask me for any presents again. I went brain dead after all this, but before I go...

Asking for a Pre-Paid card from FailTreev, but then again, I always ask for this, so...

Wishlist Suprises~ (Part 1)

Lately, I've been asked to create lists for my family because of, well, Christmas! I quickly asked for a PSP for my mother (even though it might be late, plus I don't care about the PSP2 or PSP Go) and some games.

You should've known the first game I would jot down would be Persona 3: Portable. I'm a large Persona Fan, even if I just played SMT: Imagine or Persona 3: FES. I can not only play as a girl XD, but I won't have to worry so much about having nothing else to play on Car Trips.

FFF Yeah, PangYa. PangYa may not be my favorite game due to it's take over by NTreev, but having NTreevSoft's PSP version, would surely be my favorite add-on to a game list. I won't even have to pay a ton of pang, because it should be easy to get some!

You should know, being a Yu-Gi-Oh! fan as well, asking for Tag Force 3 & 4 wouldn't be much a suprise to viewers of my Blog. Tag Force 3 is with GX, while Tag Force 4 is with 5D's, so...

I'll be posting another wishlist on here, but it'll deal with my presents that aren't PSP related. I don't expect most of them to be here ON christmas day, I mean, it's 2010, it's another year that can go around!

Yep, I'm alive. No really, I am xD;. I apologize for not updating the blog as much as possible. Lately, I've been trying to get alot of things up and running, and therefore do not have much time to update the Blogspot blog. However, I've updated my LiveJournal during the weekend, so you may wanna read that before anything else if you wanna know about my life.

Secondly, the Game List will be updated sooner or later. I haven't been able to update anything but my DeviantArt, and LiveJournal. My Laptop will have it's Monthly System Restore routine (lol, but I left it w/o a firewall for quite awhile.) and I will have to reinstall everything along with recover all of my music from the CDs I have.

Lastly: I'll have PangYa and Lunia returned to the gaming list, along with Grand Chase... again.

I would like to make an announcement for all the people who are viewing my blog and would like to spot me In-Game whether to just talk or play around. This month is December, therefore, I will be taking 6 large tests this year.

Around the first week of December, I will be taking a Writing Mock test and therefore will not be able to play any games.

Around the week before Winter Break, I will be taking four more Mock tests and will be stuck in a room for 8 hours on end. This means, I will not be playing any games for the rest of those days.

Due to my Schedule, my Gaming time has been placed at an all time low. This means, I will be postponing all gaming schedule times on my gaming list.

The only reason I wasn't on these few weeks were due to Anime watching, xD.

Under 27 Days till Christmas, seriously?!

I guess you could say that I'm gaming more than watching Anime now, as I've made a small list on Anime-Planet that you could see all my records of the Animes I've watched/not watched/don't wanna etc.

However, I've been watching Yu-Gi-Oh! GX lately, so Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters hasn't been doing any good other than rotting themselves in my downloads folder. Kara no Kyoukai's 7th Movie comes out in December, so I have to wait for that as well.

So, while watching Yu-Gi-Oh! I will also be watching one of the animes I saw late at night on Cartoon Network (JP Subbed, of course).

Yes, Roots. I plan on watching the others some time later in the future, but ROOTS was the one I watched and loved, but never got to finish it. Besides, I'd like to see how the storyline is in Japanese as well.

I'm not even kidding. I've been so busy collecting cards, I forget that I need to construct a deck to play against schoolfriends. Then again, I'm also playing World Championship '08 and '09, and I'm studying Japanese so I've been having an eh-ish schedule now.

Anyways, I'm at school right now, typing up and doing a vow to stay silent for kids rights around the world :D. Basically, I'm trying to stay quiet all day at school (Usually goes on all day, but meh), and many of my friends are doing it, too. Well, that's another blog post (quite boring for some)

Books Ready: Japanese Study - GO!

Today, while going to Barnes & Noble, I bought three items that would help me with my Japanese studies. Two books (A beginner's guide & dictionary) and a thing that looks like a brochure. With this now in my shelf, I will study 30 minutes a day, possibly an hour, and then play games or so. This will balance out my school life and gaming life, so it should help alot!

Ryan's Skill Tree is coming
Until November 10th, receive a 30% EXP/GP bonus in PvP and Dungeon by playing as Ryan or with a Ryan on your team.
Ryan signboard will be distributed to all players who have Ryan unlocked, and has been added as a reward to Ryan's mission for new players unlocking Ryan to receive it.
Ryan's cash armor sets have been discounted by 20% until November 10th
Power-up packages have been added to the shop until November 10th to help earn Ryan's advanced jobs.
Sieghart's necklace upgrading event has been added:
This event applies only to cash necklaces.
The rewards will be given out for each qualifying necklace, including duplicates of the same necklace.
The rewards do not stack, so the level reached for each necklace determines the "tier" of rewards received.
A new dungeon in Silver Land has opened, the Primeval Island!
A Primeval Island mission will be distributed for all characters upon first login during the event.

Primeval Island dungeon added to Silver Land, completion of King Guang's Fen is required to unlock this dungeon.
Completion of King Guang's Fen Champion Crest is required to acquire the Primeval Island Champion Crest.

I need your help, and fast! I wanna rejoin a few gaming communities, but I'm kind of wary here. I will list a few questions on this blog, and if you can, please answer them! I will also be listing the games here as well.

1) How has the community changed? Better? Worse? If so, please tell me how it has changed.

2) Has leveling gotten easier? Harder? Are quests easy to complete, or have they gotten to the point for relying on friends?

3) Has this game turned into a total LOLCASHSHOP game? Has it made anything good enough for players without money to withstand certain things?

4) Is PvP required to level now?

5) How is the economy?

Quick Announcement: Until my games work for me, I will not be playing any of them. I've uninstalled all except Dinomachia, since that's the only one that'll catch my interest.

TinierMe!

TinierMe is an Online Chatting "Game" that's similar to Gaia Online...only cuter. This game is made by GCREST, which in a fact, is the same Company that's hosting トリックスター＋, also known as Trickster+ (Japanese version of Trickster Online). Fishing is the only game on the thing so far, but it's still updating and it's easy to get coins with surveys and ringing people.
So far, I've seen people dress up as Ash from Pokemon, and Touhou Characters, and one of my forum-mates are trying to dress up as a character from the Persona series.
The Community's quite nice, and I'm loving every step of it.
It's in beta, too, so there's gonna be some problems sticking to it. Once it comes out officially, I'll review it fully! ^^
(is awaiting for someone to mimic Judai Yuki's clothing x3)

Also, I'm feeling quite generous. Well, actually, I'll do this once in awhile. I'll be inviting people to TinierMe, this includes secondary accounts for more coins. I get 300 each person I invite and they sign up. You also get 300 coins, and the fact that the referral system's for everyone.

I'd do that, "Email me @ PhoenixLuv@live.com" crap, but it sounds like a bot, so just ask me for an invitation.

Moetan Corner: Educational for Some!

So, not only is Moetan cute, but very educational! During the show, you will hear "engrish," but to tell you the truth it's actually pretty good. The characters will say a phrase in Japanese, then translate it to English for people to learn that phrase. So far Pastel Ink & Tempera Sumi have done it, so it's pretty neat. I think I'll finish this Anime soon, because it's only 13 Episodes.

Trickster is to Gametree as LaTale is to HappyOZ?!

Awhile back, Gametree and HappyOZ had partnered up with NtreevSoft + ActozSoft. I was looking up information on the two companies and I'm just going to come up with a short conclusion.
Both game companies are running out on money! The Economy's gonna blow!
NTreevSoft is still there, it's just the fact that Gametree has partnered up with them and with a conclusion, they have added more games. Dinomachia, Trickster Online, and PangYa were obviously not making enough income.
HappyOZ has also brought in a game in Closed Beta, known as Jongchun. Their other games (LaTale, A3, & XUP) never brought enough income either.

Ecnomony's busting badly for all of us, but it seems South Korea's going down as well.
I will search up more information when I get the chance, but that's all for now.

Grand Chase - 10/21 Patch Notes

Halloween Extravaganza event has been added until November 3rd
Receive a Creepy Pumpkin Roll game board at first login
Creepy Pumpkin Roll is a board game within Grand Chase that is played by rolling two six-sided dice
One roll is earned for every hour of gameplay, up to a maximum of five rolls per day
Up to three additional rolls per day may be purchased from the shop
Prizes will be given based on the space your marker lands on
Try to get around the board as many times as you can for special prizes at the end!
The Park has been redecorated for Halloween
A cursed Jiang Shi lower armor accessory will be given as a timed 2-day item every day you log in during the event.
If you log in at least once each day for 10 days or more, the Jiang Shi will be yours to keep once the event ends!
Special brand new Halloween sets Jiang Shi and Zombie will be sold in the shop
The popular team PvP mode "Smashing Pumpkins" has been temporarily re-added during the event with special rewards to the victors.
The Kanavan Colosseum is open for BATTLE!
Kanavan Colosseum is a world premiere system of competitive PvP ranking that utilizes skill-based ratings similar to the "King of the Hill" tournament.
This feature may only be accessed from the Colosseum server, a special new server in which there is no shop, no dungeon, no chat, just BATTLE!
To enhance the competition and increase the pool of available competitiors, this server will only be open from 1 PM to 10 PM PST/PDT each day. However, during this open beta, the server will be available ALL THE TIME for testing, so get in there and BATTLE! (notice a recurring theme?)
To play, click the BATTLE! button; this will place you in a room with a randomly seleced opponent. You will not be able to see your opponent's character or stats.
All matches are fought on a random map with a format similar to tag match which requires players to select three characters (you can pick the same character multiple times though).
Ratings will be reset every week, with prizes given to the best gladiators and gladiatrices.
For this inaugural event, ratings will NOT be reset, so to recognize the achievement of being on top after TWO weeks, extra-special prizes have been arranged:
First Place:
Any 1 weapon (limited event weapons will be timed for 30 days).
Any 1 armor set (includes sets in the Shop, Gacha sets; limited sale sets will be timed for 30 days).
Any 1 accessory (includes accessories in the Shop, no longer available accessories, mission accessories; limited accessories will be timed for 30 days).
Any pet (includes pets in the Shop, Seal Breaker Gacha, Refer-a-Friend, and Gacha pets, including those no longer available, all permanent).

New and Returning Knights will have an option when logging in to name the friend who referred them.
A "Returning Knight" is any player who has not logged in since September 1st, 2009.
A "New Knight" is any account created during the event period.
Prizes will be given out upon login to new, returning, and existing knights.
The player who refers a new or returning Knight will receive prizes when that Knight performs an attendance check.
New and Returning Knights will also receive prizes for their first attendance check.
A player can refer up to 12 new or returning Knights, and will receive progressively better prizes for each one that performs an attendance check.
As an added bonus, friends receive a 30% bonus to XP and GP when playing on the same team in PvP or Dungeons for 45 days.

[First Marathon] - PangYa Marathon!: October~November!

From October 15th~November 4th, I will be playing a PangYa Marathon! It isn't because of JUST Halloween, though. I also have two OTHER announcements.

First off: SeeDark, the MAIN artist of PangYa, had died on October 1st(?), 2009 from an Illness. This gave me a shock, as no one could ever mimic his style.

Second off: Armcho, the main arist of TRICKSTER, had quit his job, and both of the jobs were transferred to Nyanya and someone else. I'm not sure, though.

So, RIP SeeD and goodbye Armcho ;o;, you were so FREAKIN' Awesome >___<;;

Lass' Skill Tree is here!
Until October 20th, play as Lass for a 50% EXP/GP boost in all modes
Get an Empowered Lass Sign (1 Day) for winning in Dungeon/PvP
All players will receive a Lass' Lucky Box at first login, and then another for each attendance check
Lass' Lucky Box may contain useful items for Lass ranging from crystal equipment to 2-Day timed Level 9 necklaces.

In honor of Halloween, we have reintroduced the Halloween Armor Set and Requiem Armor Set.
Gacha Dungeon 1 - Trial Tower has been reactivated!

Lass' Skill Tree is coming
Until October 13th, receive a 30% EXP/GP bonus in PvP and Dungeon by playing as Lass or with a Lass on your team.
Lass pride signboard will be distributed to all players who have Lass unlocked, and has been added as a reward to Lass' mission for new players unlocking Lass to receive it.
Power-up packages have been added to the shop to help earn Lass' advanced jobs.

[Cash]
Until October 13th, four Power-Up packages for Lass will be sold in the Academy tab.
Assassin Power-Up Package: Contains the mission scroll and all items necessary to unlock Assassin.
Dark Assassin Power-Up Package: Contains the mission scroll and all items necessary to unlock Dark Assassin.
Lass Power-Up Package: Contains everything in the Assassin and Dark Assassin Power-Up Packages.
Striker Power-Up Package: Contains the mission scroll and all items necessary (for all three mission parts) to unlock Striker.

Seedark (SeeD) has died from an illness that lead to his death. He's lived to be about 28 years old, but you probably don't know why he's so famous, right?
He was the lead artwork designer in PangYa, and this year it was passed to Nyanya.
It was pretty sad though, he died pretty young....
But, RIP Seedark/Park Jeong Hoon.

Trickster + ToonTown Progress

So on Trickster, I've actually leveled today. I'm grinding alone in the Ghost Blue fields while working on grabbing the quest items. It's kinda fast though, thanks to freaking Wind Blade. And on ToonTown I got my Lipstick, Fire Hose, and I'm on the final task to get the Sound Track. Thanks to Casey (109 Laff) for helping me out here!

Jenny Reviews: Dungeon Fighter Online!

A Game that was shown from one of the pictures. Dungeon Fighter Online is a Korean multiplayer PC beat 'em up video game, and I found it fun and addicting because it was like LaTale and Trickster Online
...Only a Non-Kiddish Version.
*P.S: Please keep in mind, the "BGM" ranking will go into the Graphics ranking.

Community - 9.5/10
The community can be quite nice at times. I actually loved how nice I saw some talking while walking around the beginning towns. I'm not sure if it's different when you become a higher level, but It's quite nice to have people to talk with.

Graphics - 10/10
I freaking love the graphics in this game. The skills, the Storyline comic, and the graphics themselves are pretty badass. I also like how the Male Gunner and most Mage skills appear on the screen. We have a long way to go before all the jobs are out! However, the music is what gets me with some being techno and such.

Gameplay - 9.8/10
The gameplay is a "Beat'em up" Video Game, so you're expected to see a certain fighting style. This game does not lag as much as normal games do (unless you have a crappy computer), so it's quite easy to attack. Not to mention, that you can spam some skills and make it easier for fighting or letting your Party create combos if you work together. The Back Attack System kind of reminds me of Lunia or Grand Chase, but it's nothing of the sort in a way as well.

I'm not sure about the economy, but it was like in Open Beta this time, right? I look forward to playing this game. I would play the Korean version, but school duties call, and I need to pay attention more this year if I wanna get into High School.
Overall, this game gets a:
9.8 (9.76 Un-Rounded)
Again, I'm looking forward to adding this game onto my list when it re-opens or so, and I'm really gonna try becoming a Summoner!

Second Job for Jin has been added! Now Jin can become a Shisa with the completion of a Cash or GP mission!
Playing as Jin or in a dungeon/PvP team with any Jin job will give a 20% EXP/GP bonus.
Any player who completes Jin's job change mission before 09/29 will be awarded Elite Holy Spirit Armor Set (15 Days) and Kamiki Tonfa (200 Uses) at the end of the event.
In addition to those prizes, players who complete Jin's job change mission before 09/29 can choose between one of the following prizes to be awarded immediately:
Holy Spirit Tonfa (15 Days)
Castle Lord Tonfa (15 Days)
Highlander Tonfa (15 Days)
A Shisa sign board will be distributed at first login during the event.
Until September 29th, check out the bonuses active in PvP!

Another life update, hurrah! So, yeah. My disadvantage for getting the flu made me get a 53 in Math. I made that up and turned it in, hopefully Progress Reports don't screw up at a time like this. Besides that, I've gotten into PangYa and Grand Chase again recently. Still playing Trickster, but also halving my game time with it. I haven't done much with my DeviantArt, though. I've also gotten to Episode 79 of Yu-Gi-Oh!, so it's kind of making me progress faster on my fanfiction.

So, I finally updated Opera a day ago. I really love the interface on it, because it's more....Graphiccy (lol) than the older version, as it was bulkier. I went onto SLGaming for an Example, and I dunno if it's just YouTube, or if it's Opera, but I love how the YouTube videos are now. Secondly, the Speed Dial looks better now, and thirdly, I love how some buttons are. I don't seem to crash anymore either, so I guess this update helped alot.

That's right, I managed to get onto Trickster Online this morning! I was working on Episode 2 single-handedly, and I got through to Chapter 3. I didn't really like Tornado Blast's aim, but...It'll do good when I'm helping people get through Count Trials or I'm training. So...only 11 levels till 100, and I'm hoping that I can drill up the bloody rune when I'm at that stage.
Also, @Raven: Concentrate on 1 Character so we can try to work on quests together, kthnx @_@

I was gonna post about this awhile back, but I completely forgot. On my birthday I had gotten 170 bucks, with an additional 60 from one of my brothers. I had bought two packs of Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Cards, Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship 2008, Code Lyoko, and Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3. I was quite suprised GameStop had P3, and not only that, but P3FES, and it's manual and artwork and such. I freaking LOVE the game so far, but I haven't gotten time to play it. Storyline's good. Gameplay's good. It's all good, and I hope to review more of it once I'm playing it more often.

Stats vs Gameplay Style

Online Gaming is always a form of entertainment for all of us gamers, big and small. We get imports from South Korea and it is americanized to make it more 'Easy' and 'Free to Play' most of the times. We could get on from a minimum to like..5 seconds, depending on if we like or hate it. Online Gaming has a sort of reputation to it, and it can range from being Free to Play with a Cash shop (I.E: Most of the games out there), or Pay to Play (Membership Only - I.E: Disney's ToonTown Online, Upcoming Aion Online, and World of Warcraft).

However, with communities being craptastic these days, it's kind of hard to play alone on certain games.

"Well, I play Lass because of the Dark Assassin Gameplay~:D" - A common Grand Chase player.

"Lass sucks, his defense is like, totally low. You should play a Ronan." - A Power-Hungry Gamer.

What am I getting at here?

Online Gaming has turned to trash because of "Statistics". I mean, yes, if it's MMOs and you want to build up your power for a character, go ahead!

Just don't go pester someone who doesn't play for statistics. It's not your mind to force into playing for "being the best". Some players who are in those Top 10 Boards, got there for a few reasons, some just wanting to see what happens at the ends.

The sad part thing, is the statistic crap happens in games that DON'T depend on stats, too. They make it somehow possible.

Example:

A Non-Hacking Beginner D, could beat a National Pro E, with non-cash/premium shop equips. - Albatross18/PangYa

A person who uses the free melee weapon (forgetting name... XD) can beat anyone who's using a storm bat, depending on how good they are. - S4 League

The Common one?: A Casher can beat a Non-Casher - All MMOs, in this case: Grand Chase.

This is probably not understandable, but tl;dr?

Stop acting like pricks when it comes to stats! .-.
